Lena Goldstein is one of the last survivors of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. She’s 96 years old – and still driving!!! She also reads, shops, lectures and bakes.

Eva Grinston is a survivor of the Auschwitz concentration camp. Gracious, lively, fascinating and energetic, she is a stellar baker, mother of 3, grandmother of 4, friend to many, many more.

Rina Mevorach lives and cooks in Jerusalem. Born in Libya, hers is the little known story of what happened to Jews in North Africa when the German army reached them during WWII.

Rita Ross is a Melbourne foodie. She survived the War because a Polish family hid her. Strangers who didn’t know her or her parents saved their lives, at huge risk to themselves.
